5,000 Condoms. To go, Please!

A truck used as part of a continuous mobile AIDS awareness tour in Mexico has gone missing. Among the items inside the stolen vehicle were 5,000 condoms, 800 HIV tests and a 23-foot (7 meter) inflatable prophylactic. The coordinator Polo Gomez parked the truck, or "Condomovil" in front of a friend's house, Sunday and it has since gone missing. The truck is very conspicuous and features decorations such as peeled bananas and shirtless men. The truck is estimated to be worth 200,000 Pesos ($19,000 USD). The Condomovil program has toured Mexico since 1998 and has distributed over 1.2 million condoms. It was funded by a grant from Mexico's Federal Health Department.
